We are very happy to announce that TAKE 2026 – The Multidisciplinary Conference on Intangibles will be held in presencial mode at Universidade Lusofona de Humanidades e Teconologias (ULHT) in Lisbon, Portugal, from July 6th to July 9th 2026.
TAKE 2026 is the tenth edition of TAKE, following nine previous editions in Aveiro, Portugal (2016), Zagreb, Croatia (2017), Poznan, Poland (2018), Vienna Austria (2019) Online (2021) and Hybrid (2022) in Porto, Portugal, Hybrid in Sopot and Gdansk, Poland in 2023, in Lisbon, Portugal (2024) and in Sofia, Bulgaria (2025). TAKE Spirit – bridging between theory and practice.
TAKE is an international scientific conference devoted to the multidisciplinary study of the knowledge economy. In particular, it intends to analyze the relation and the gap between theories and practices in the knowledge economy of the 21st century.
As researchers, lecturers and practicioners, we know that theory evolves as long as practice demands. And we also know that answers for social problems require multidisciplinary efforts. Many times social scientists live in silos. We believe not only theory should meet practice but also scientist with different perspectives should meet.
Therefore, we bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss, advance, and shape the future of the knowledge economy.
Following the experience of previous TAKE conferences, we will put together experts from different fields such as Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management, Logistics, Retail, Public Policy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business Models, SMEs, Competitiveness and Accounting. We have 25 streans waiting for your contribution and managed by joyful and extremely competent strean leaders from all over the world. This diversity and wideness transforms TAKE into an unique scientific forum. The closeness and friendship between participants is another element that turns TAKE conferences into unforgettable events.
Take 2026 – Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge, Education and Citizenship in the Pos-Covid-19 society.
During TAKE2025 participants felt that, on one hand, the times are dominated by the constant presence of AI, which has decisive impact on knowledge and education. Also, and in the other hand AI creates big challenges for the way we all are supposed to act as citizens. Therefore, in this conference we aim at addressing this very complex, and yet very crucial question – how do Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge, Education and Citizenship relate, in the Pos-Covid-19 society. Therefore for TAKE 2026 we invite you to submit abstracts and papers on the 25 streams that compose the conference having this focus has a aim. Other contributions that fit the streams are also welcome
